Soccer Star Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Pet in Mexico to $$20k
Wales soccer player Aaron Ramsey has increased the reward for information concerning the lost dog named Halo to fifteen thousand pounds.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now represents Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who went missing on October 9th, was wearing a dog tracker collar, and the footballer posted a map pinpoint of her last known location.
"Any information regarding our beloved Halo kindly get in touch with us. Big incentive for finding her. We are all praying she is safe and can be back with us shortly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Offer and Emotional Appeals
The footballer first disclosed that his dog had disappeared a fortnight back and has since uploaded several images of the adored canine on his social media account.
A $ten thousand dollar reward was first announced, but with lack of updates on Halo's status after a week, the player and his loved ones raised the sum.
"All we desire is Halo home," he said in another request on social media after the 10-year-old dog was lost.
A recent image upload is a black and white snapshot of the beagle snoozing, her head lying in the bend of Ramsey's arm, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you one last time sweet Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Context
Ramsey has also posted a note from his wife Colleen on online channels saying they have some "important questions" regarding the event and fear the family "might not obtain explanations".
"We have yet to have not located Halo. It is unlikely we will ever," the spouse's post expressed.
The Welsh skipper became part of Mexican first division club Pumas UNAM recently and had his first appearance in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly athlete is the initial high profile UK player to compete in the Mexico's top division.
